The Nicholas County Commission located in Nicholas County, West Virginia is in the process of obtaining a qualified engineering Consultant to provide engineering services for the Nicholas County Re Connect funded broadband expansion project. This Nicholas County Broadband Project will expand fiber optic broadband to unserved areas in Nicholas County. Consultants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in the design of aerial and buried fiber routes, pole permitting, WVDOH permitting, development of fiber optic design plans, and construction management of fiber optic projects. All consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, and related prior experience. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
