Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Summersville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,192-square-foot fitness / recreation center.
Development of a youth sports outdoor recreational complex. The project will involve the construction of three buildings including a locker room and welcome center, press box / restroom building, and trailhead restroom building. An access road will be improved into the property and also include the construction of parking areas for the complex with associated site lighting, concrete paving, and asphalt paving. Utility work will include a water line extension, gravity sanitary sewer extension, power connections, underground conduit installation, and stormwater network installation. The development of the project will also require associated earthwork and erosion and sediment control. The Work will be substantially completed within 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 360 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to City of Summersville in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
