Remodeling of a municipal facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Development Resource Center Interior Improvements Contract Number M-23-007 The Scope of Work Shall Consist of but Not Limited to the Following: Interior Carpentry on the First Floor (Northend of the Building, Main Lobby) Which Includes Adding Two New Walls With Windows, Electrical. Plumbing, Adding a Sprinkler Head. Adding an Ada Button Activated System to Three Sets of Doors (Two Existing, One New). Electrical, Adding New Lighting. Interior Carpentry on the First Floor (Main Corridor) Which Includes Removing a Section of Wall and Putting in Four New Doorways. Interior Carpentry on the Second Floor (City Engineering) Which Includes Repairing a Door Frame and Replacing a Damageddoor. Interior Carpentry on the Third Floor (Conference Room 3a) Which Includes Adding Two New Walls With Doors and Windows. And Others That Are Identified Within the Plans and Specifications. The work covered by this Contract consists of : 1. Contractor to pick up and pay for permits needed. 2. Removal of office furniture on first floor within construction area noted on plans and turn over to the City. 3. Removal of carpet on first floor within construction area and clean adhesive residue offfloor. 4. Removal of damaged door & frame, on 2nd floor, repair frame and replace door. 5. Add walls and double doors on 3rd floor conference room. 6. Two exterior doors with card swipe, on front and back ofbuilding offthe main lobby, and make them into an ADA compliant door with ADA push button system with door openers. 7. Removal of glass walls and double doors activated by card swipe on 1st floor at lobby to the LDO and replace with new store front doors and reattach card swipe with new ADA compliant doors with ADA push buttons system. 8. Install new walls with teller windows and set of double doors to form new Public Lobby (conduit for new card swipe security systems). 9. Windows and glass doors in new Public Lobby area is to be laminated glass. 10. Electrical outlets installed in new wall. 11. Install new electric door control on Hamilton County GIS with card swipe & remote intercom and override. 12. Removal of existing light and install new lighting per the construction plans. 13. Add additional sprinkler head per the construction plans. 14. Work continuous in each area once demo of area has started until it is completed in that area. 15. Remove a section ofhalfwall and glass on 1st floor conference rooms and frame and install new doors (4 places). 16. Relocate / replace / add "EXIT" signs per plans and code. 17. Contractor shall coordinate and work with other City contractors installing of flooring, office furniture and Data cables. 18. Work with security contractor to have a conduit & boxes placed for a complete and fully functioning security system. Question Deadline 02/13/2026 submit a written request at least five (5) calendar days in advance ofthe bid opening date to the Engineer for interpretation or clarification.
