The City of Laredo will solicit and receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms for a Design-Build project of an 18-hole disc golf course at Independence Hills Park. The selected firm will provide professional services including, but not limited to, design, preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, acquisition of necessary permits, and construction of an 18-hole disc golf course compliant with disc golf standards. The project will include all appropriate amenities such as a practice area, tees, baskets, signage and wayfinding, an entry archway, and any other elements required to deliver a complete course in accordance with recognized disc golf standards. Every aspect of work shall be included as obvious or implied as necessary to make the work complete and fully operational (Turn-key project). This solicitation will follow policies and procedures related to the procurement of goods and services with Federal funding, State of Texas and/or local sources. Local participation is encouraged, and the City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, award one or more contracts based on specific tasks, to award a contract to the principal company submitting their statement of qualifications, or to a secondary firm named therein, and to award contract only upon availability of funding.
