Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Castle Rock, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The Town of Castle Rock is soliciting bids for the production of final shop drawings, fabrication, and installation of signs as shown in the attached sign plan for Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space. The scope includes: - Production of final shop drawings, coordinating with the Town to finalize sign face content and layouts, and providing these for approval before fabrication. The contractor is responsible for the footer design for signs not mounted in caprock. - Fabrication of signs, including submitting material samples, mock-ups, and prototypes for approval, and conducting structural engineering for sign footers. - Installation of signs on site, noting that some locations may only be accessible by hiking in. The contractor must perform all work per Town standards and project plans, and is responsible for site preparation, material testing coordination, and restoration of disturbed areas. - Construction services include managing all construction activities, coordinating deliveries, maintaining a safe environment, organizing weekly project meetings, keeping up-to-date drawings and records, working closely with relevant Town departments and utility companies, protecting adjacent vegetation and trails, and ensuring a minimum of 51% of construction value is self-performed by the contractor. Instructions to bidders: - Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Project Name, Bid Opening date, and Bidder's Company Name clearly marked. - If not bidding, documents should be returned marked as "No Bid." - Questions about bidding procedures or the project scope must be submitted by email by the stated deadline. No phone inquiries or contacting other project personnel is allowed. - A baseline construction schedule in the form of a Gantt chart must be submitted, covering key milestones such as shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, prototypes, fabrication, and installation. - Bidders must submit an experience statement, listing relevant projects and staff experience, and identify which work will be self-performed. Subcontractor lists must also be provided. - The successful bidder must provide insurance certificates, statement of liability, workers' compensation proof, performance and payment bonds, and a 5% Bid Guarantee (certified check or bond). No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after opening. - The Town reserves the right to cancel, reject, adjust quantities, and waive irregularities at its discretion. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
