Renovation of a municipal facility in Newark, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
All questions regarding the Plans and Specifications should be addressed to the Wachtel & McAnally Architects bbender1@wachtelmcanally.com Bidder is to furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to perform the work as follows but not limited to: Remove roof top air handlers and exhaust; replace or extend all roof curbs and MEPs to new curb height; remove and dispose existing membrane, coverboard, insulation, substrate, gutter, coping, flashing, edge metal, and caulking, and replace with new EPDM membrane, 1/2 cover board, R30 Polyiso insulation, 1/2 substrate, coping, flashing, edge metal, and caulking. Existing building must remain operational. A bid surety in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the total bid or a bid guaranty and contract bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. If the successful bidder submitted a 10% bid surety, they are required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the full contract amount. Bidders shall conform to State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Laws. Bonds must identify the Licking County Commissioners as obligee. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, informalities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. The Commissioners reserve the right to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
