Renovation of a museum in Newark, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of 1/8/2026 the project has been temporarily withdrawn. It is anticipated the RFQ will be back online with additional information by February. The Licking County Board of Commissioners are soliciting statements of qualifications for design-build services in connection with historical preservation and upgrades to the Licking County Historical Buckingham House. Interested firms are invited to submit statement of qualifications to provide services as a Design Builder for the improvements. The improvements will be constructed in compliance with the criteria established in the preliminary cost estimate associated grant. Questions regarding interpretation of the content of this Request for Qualifications must be directed to Adrienne Eskins, Community Development Specialist, Licking County Planning and Development Department, 20 S. 2nd Street, Newark, Ohio 43055; aeskins@lickingcounty.gov. Answers to any questions shall be in writing and shall be posted on Licking County's webpage at online. Licking County reserves the right at any and all times to reject all qualifications statements, to cancel this RFQ or any portion of this RFQ. Licking County shall have no liability to any firm arising out of such cancellation or rejection. Licking County reserves the right to waive minor variations in the selection process.
