Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newark, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This Project includes: Removal and replacement of existing pavement in parking lots/alleys and construction of drainage, curb, sidewalk, and installation of underground lighting conduit and foundations. Electrical work to be completed by others Only one contract will be issued by the Owner for constructing the Project, the General Contract, which will cover all scopes of work necessary to construct the Project. The Contractor awarded the General Contract (General Contractor) will be responsible for the performance and coordination of any and all subcontractors and suppliers either directly or indirectly contracted with the General Contractor. Owner will provide Bidders access to the Project site to conduct such examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, and studies as Bidder deems necessary for submission of a Bid. Bidder shall fill all holes, clean up, and restore the Site to its former condition upon completion of such explorations, investigations, tests, and studies. Bidder shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations and Owner's policies relative to excavation and utility locates. Question Deadline 02/13/2026 If a Bidder contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Project is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, it may submit a written request for an interpretation thereof to Brian Morehead, City Engineer, bmorehead@newarkohio.net or 40 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
