Site work for a water / sewer project in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for the cured-in-place (CIP) trenchless lining rehabilitation and selective joint grouting of approximately 10,900 LF of 8"-36" diameter sanitary and storm sewer at various locations. All bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid online bidding portal. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the city clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the city engineer, subject to review by the city council. The council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the city as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the city, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the city as liquidated damages.
