The bunkers at Riverside hold water after rain events; also, with new technology in golf equipment, several bunkers need to be removed/moved/or reconfigured. The 2025 greenside bunker project was a great success. Completing the remainingbunkers will assist staff in the overall maintenance of the course. KemperSports continues to bring in high-level tournaments/outings and having bunkers that drain after rain events will allow for these tournaments/outings to continue. The project is included in the City's 2025-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 27, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
