Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in County of Grande Prairie No. 1, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Development of Wastewater UV Disinfection, to meet current Alberta Environment regulations for treated wastewater. The Wastewater UV system will disinfect wastewater prior to being returned to the Wapiti River. Aquatera has investigated the option of building the new UV system in existing Right-of-Way south of the intersection of Range Rd. 61 and Township Rd. 704A. The proposed location would be built between 2 existing raw water mains, the mains have approximately 15.0m of separation. The effluent main transitions from a force main to a gravity system in this area, and the new UV system would utilize the existing elevation change in the mains. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants has been awarded. Trojan UV system has already been selected as the supplier of the UV Disinfection System. Construction is planned for 2027. *Budget is unreleased.
