Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of the Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Drainage Facilities to serve Grand Prairie Highlands Section 15. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check payable to Friendswood Development Company on behalf of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 570C in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the submitted bid must accompany each bid. Bidders may submit bids electronically via the specified website and must register to do so. Electronic bids do not include bids submitted by telegraphic or facsimile transmission. Bidding documents may be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee for each set, either in physical or electronic format, and bidders must register to download them. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder who, in the judgment of the Board, will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code may apply, and the contract can be terminated if the bidder or contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. The entity reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
