Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Scope of Work includes the construction of two water supply wells, a ground storage tank, a hydropneumatic tank, horizontal split case booster pumps, a CMU control building, a natural gas generator, and related electrical and site work. Instructions to bidders specify that each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract, execute the bonds on the provided forms, and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days of receipt of the contract documents. Bidders must register and obtain bidding documents either by visiting the engineer's office or online, paying the required non-refundable fee. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive defects and irregularities in bidding except for the time of bid submission. The successful bidder will be determined by which bid is most advantageous and economical to the district.
