Context and detailed description of requirements In this context, Cegep Limoilou wishes to acquire a compact Industry 4.0 learning system for an automated production system that must include a minimum of four application modules (including conveyor transport) as well as all associated tutorials to equip a teaching laboratory. As this laboratory already uses exclusively the Siemens development environment (TIA Portal v19) for automation, the proposed solution must also be based on this technology. The proposed system must include at least the following four application modules: Module 1: Parts supply module (warehouse entry module) This module supplies the manufacturing production line. Module 2: Quality control (example: analog measurements) Module 3: Modular production by parameters (e.g., drilling module, painting module, etc.) This module performs or simulates one or more actions to transform/modify a product during manufacturing Module 4: Output module for separating products according to their conformity This module, which completes the production/assembly line, separates compliant products from non-compliant products and removes them from the conveyor circuit.
