Question Deadline 10/16/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Online Q&A Yes Torrance Police Department - UPS Replacement Project (2nd Floor Computer/UPS Room) This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing 80 kW / 100 kVA UPS-B system and associated equipment, including bypass, auxiliary, battery cabinets, remote annunciator, and synchronizing indicator panel. A new 100 kVA UPS-B system (480 V input / 208 V output), along with a maintenance bypass cabinet, battery cabinet, and static transfer switch (STS), will be furnished and installed per design specifications. Work includes modification of feeders and terminations to re-feed designated downstream panels, retaining and reconnecting existing equipment as specified. The contractor will coordinate power shutdowns and critical load transfers while ensuring continuous 24/7 operations protection. All installation will comply with applicable codes, standards, and permit requirements. The project includes testing, commissioning, and on-site training for staff, along with proper disposal of removed equipment and adherence to safety and housekeeping protocols. In case of disputes, City requirements take precedence. The Bid bond must be submitted with the Bid. Only the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and labor & materials bond.
