Site work and new construction of an office development in Sumter, South Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a 49,975-square-foot office development.
TIMELINE: As of September 4, 2026, an architectural firm has been selected and the project is in design, and the owner is in the process of evaluating bids received from CMAR. The project received rezoning approval from the city in December 2025. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter 2027. ETV Sumter is one of the network's four regional studios that produce a variety of community programming and educational content. SCETV has received a state appropriation of $22,750,000 to build a new multi-use studio building. There is $2,500,000 set aside for broadcast technology. We have another request for demolition of buildings at the site. Estimated expense is $253,000. We are seeking to contract an architect to design the new facility.
