The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: replacement of the existing roadway surface over the arch with a concrete relief slab, installation of a partial height Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil wall inside the spandrel walls, cleaning and repointing of the existing masonry, masonry repairs, replacing missing stones, masonry crack repair, new sidewalks and moment slabs. Work will also include adjusting the vertical profile along Main Street, improving the existing drainage system, installation of drainage columns, the installation of new ornamental bridge railing and reconstruction of roadway approaches as required to accommodate rehabilitation efforts.
