Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Keeseville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of the rehabilitation of the Main Street Bridge (Keeseville) over Ausable River, BIN 3359920, located in the Towns of Ausable and Chesterfield. The project limits extend from approximately 130 feet northwest to 120 feet southeast of the bridge along Main Street. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for the following: replacement of the existing roadway surface over the arch with a concrete relief slab, installation of a partial height Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil wall inside the spandrel walls, cleaning and repointing of the existing masonry, masonry repairs, replacing missing stones, masonry crack repair, new sidewalks and moment slabs, adjusting the vertical profile along Main Street, improving the existing drainage system, installation of drainage columns, installation of new ornamental bridge railing, and reconstruction of roadway approaches as required to accommodate rehabilitation efforts. Bidders must examine the site and review drawings and specifications including Addenda to satisfy themselves of the accuracy of estimated quantities. This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications adopted on January 1, 2026, must be followed. There is a 0% DBE goal, no M/WBE goals, and specific EEO employment goals. The use of NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software (EBO) is required. No residential or geographical restrictions will be in effect. Applicable Federal requirements take precedence unless state and local requirements are more stringent. Questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to Karl T. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
