The work consists of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles; furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work site is at various King County facilities located throughout Washington, primarily for the Wastewater Treatment Division. The contract is not to exceed $4,000,000 and the initial contract time shall not exceed 365 calendar days from the date of contract execution by the County. The County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the total value of work orders will reach the maximum contract amount. Subcontracting opportunities are identified for mechanical, mechanical equipment, and materials. There is a minimum requirement of 15% apprentice utilization of the total labor hours and a 5% minimum for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS) for the total price of all executed work orders. A pre-bid conference is not scheduled A bid guaranty of not less than 5% of the total bid price is required. Bids received after the due date/time will not be considered. Bidders accept all risks of late delivery, regardless of fault. King County is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this invitation to bid.
