Renovation of an educational facility in Irmo, South Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
**Per Addendum 1 "The above-referenced solicitation is cancelled in its entirety for the reason below: The specifications will be revised and the invitation for bids will be resolicited at a later date"** Description: School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to install a fluid applied restoration of existing gravel built-up roof system. The scope of work shall include wet insulation removal, selective through wall flashing replacement, and OSHA required rooftop safety. Work shall be completed at H.E. Corley Elementary School (1500 Chadford Road, Irmo, SC 29063) River Springs Elementary School (115 State Rd S-40-2396, Irmo, SC 29063). The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Roof Area RA#1: a. Area of Roof(s): sq. m 90,684 sf. b. Slope of Existing Roof: inch per 12 inches. c. Description of Work: 1) Re-roofing preparation specified in Division 07 Section "Preparation for ReRoofing." 2) Existing roof rehabilitation specified in Division 07 Section 070150.72 Rehabilitation of Built-Up Roofing..
