Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Prescott, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 135,000-square-foot, four-story above grade, 60-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Redevelopment of Wellington House Nursing Home with the construction of a 4-storey long-term care facility; additional 60 beds. Once completed, the new home will feature multiple lounges, activity spaces, therapy rooms, a salon and a place of worship. There will also be a designated Resident Home Area (RHA) on each floor. TIMELINE: Ground breaking has recently taken place. Square footage has been approximated; actual details are unreleased. The facility is slated to open and be operational in 2028. Completion timeline is subject to change. *Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineers are unreleased for publication. *The construction funding subsidy is approx. 65.8 million (funded by the province over 25 years), which includes a $40.9-million top-up funding.
