The Work consists of the issuance of Work Orders for the reconstruction of streets, highways, and facilities Countywide; the reconstruction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveays, alley intersections, and cross gutters; and the performance of other appurtenant work at various locations within the unincorporated areas of North Los Angeles County as shown on the map included as Enclosure A herein at the end of this Section G. The work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The contract price will be $5,250,000 and shall be for one year or until $5,250,000 of work orders have been completed, whichever occurs first. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or C-12 contractor's license. Prebid questions will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least $525,000 to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,250,000, a payment bond in the amount of $5,250,000, liability insurance, automobile insurance, and worker's compensation insurance with the contract.
