Sealed bids are requested for the EPDM Roof Replacement at Holly City Family Center, 8 E Mulberry St., Millville, NJ 08332. Drawings and specifications are available electronically after registering with the Architect's ShareFile site. Requests to be added to the bidders list require the bidder's full contact information emailed to the designated contact. Once registered, bidders will receive access credentials to the project's bid documents folder. Only those with a ShareFile account may access the documents; they are not distributed by other means. Remove approx. 5,000 square feet of membrane roofing, insulation and lightweight concrete deck. Install new vapor barrier, insulation, cover board, and EPDM roofing on existing concrete structure. Replace all metal copings, roof edges, and flashings. Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Property Management Office of Millville Housing Authority by the specified deadline, and must not be submitted electronically. The envelope must include the project title, bidder name and address. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee for 10% of the bid (up to $20,000.00), as a certified or cashier's check payable to the Millville Housing Authority or a bid bond from an authorized surety. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. A Consent of Surety from an approved company must accompany the bid or it will be rejected. Bids must remain valid for 60 days after opening. Compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and ordinances is required. Equipment installation contracts must adhere to Davis-Bacon Act, HUD, and Millville Housing Authority requirements. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Building and Construction, accompanied by a certification affidavit if applicable.
