Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Nulato, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Work of the Project includes construction of a biomass heating system complete with chip feed system with a frame-supported membrane structure for storage of the chips to serve the Nulato water treatment plant and K-12 school. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, testing, and incidentals to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings, and must have experience with constructing and installing biomass boilers. Note: Specification Section 01 74 19 Part 3.1 does not apply to this project. The bid form includes two options for this project; both options are the same project, but Option B provides a different type of boiler than Option A.
