The site consists of one (1) Administration building and six (6) residential homes. The Administration building consists of staff offices, boardroom, future apartment for guests, kitchens and storage. This Negotiable Request for Proposals ("the NRFP") issued by BC Housing Management Commission ("BC Housing") is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of Facility Maintenance Services at Victory Hill, Burnaby, BC Provincial Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is the Program Operator at Victory Hill, which is a school/lodging facility for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind community. BC Housing (PRHC) is the Property Owner. The Supplier will represent BC Housing in a highly visible and important capacity and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the premises to ensure the property is safe and properly maintained, including all aspects of interior and exterior maintenance. The Supplier will have the necessary interpersonal skills to communication and work effectively and tactfully with the Program Operator at Victory Hill. The Supplier will take daily direction from the Program Operator; however, they will also be proactive in assessing and identifying the required actions to keep the buildings and other BC Housing property in a condition that meets BC Housing, and the Program Operators mutually agreed to standards. The Supplier will communicate and work directly with BC Housing for any and all issues and proposed changes related to the Agreement including but not limited to hours of work, vacation coverage and/or scope of work revisions and/or clarifications.
