The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning (DEP), Division of Sewerage Management (DSM) on behalf of Erie County Sewer District No. 4 (ECSD 4) is requesting Bids for the installation of a replacement generator at the Broadway East Pumping Station (PS) under Contract No. 62. The Project includes the installation of a 3 phase, 277/480V, 450kWh backup generator at the Broadway East PS in the Town of Lancaster, NY, inclusive of controls, communications, and all related electrical connections and components. The Work is located at Erie County Sewer District (ECSD) No. 4, Broadway East Pumping Station (PS), located at 5200 Broadway St, Lancaster, NY. Work shall be performed on property owned by the County of Erie or within public highway rightsof-way and/or easements obtained by the County of Erie. The Work includes the following detailed scope: 1. Generator housekeeping pad modification, concrete repairs, or other modifications needed to provide proper support for any of Contractor's proposed emergency power generation components. 2. Installation of a new 3 phase, 277/480V 450 kW emergency generator inside the existing building for the ECSD No. 4 Broadway East PS, a sanitary wastewater wet weather station that must stay in operation in the event of a power failure. 3. New generator must fit through existing louver opening that is 6.5 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Note that the louver will be removed prior to installation by ECSD staff. 4. All electrical connections, conduits, and replacement of electrical equipment is to be included.
