Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility.

The work consists of Runway 11-29 Safety Area Improvements at Lafayette Regional Airport. The scope includes, but is not limited to, drainage swale demolition, earthwork and grading design, drainage improvements, wall cap extension, installation of airfield electrical improvements, installation of airfield pavement marking, PAPI relocation, and site restoration as detailed in the plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted by licensed contractors in Louisiana, classification Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent of the total bid. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond at one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bids must be on the provided Bid Form and cannot be withdrawn for ninety days after opening. The SBE Participation Goal for this project is 13.13%. The contractor must either meet this SBE goal or demonstrate Good Faith Efforts toward it. All businesses will be given a full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not face discrimination. Additional requirements include compliance with the Lafayette Regional Airport's Security Program and federal and state small business enterprise program guidelines.
