Work for Contract No. 3 – Electrical will consist of installing electric services to the booster pump station and tank site, a telephone service to the booster pump station, lighting, power circuits, the telemetry system, installing control panels associated with mechanical and process equipment, furnishing and installing all additional control equipment, furnishing and installing control wiring, and furnishing and installing a standby generator at the pump station, including all necessary wiring, conduits, grounding, bonding, panelboards, automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, and raceways, as shown and specified. Accompanying each bid must be a bid bond or certified check made payable to the order of the Town of Herkimer in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bidder's maximum bid amount as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to a bidder, said successful bidder will comply with the Notice to Bidders and the specification for the contract in accordance therewith. Said bid bond or certified check will be retained by the Town of Herkimer, and upon completion of the contract, in accordance with said specifications, the said bid bond or certified check will be returned to the bidder. On failure to comply with the requirements in this document and the specifications for said contract, the successful bidder shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages to the Town of Herkimer. Every bid or proposal must contain a non-collusion affidavit executed by the bidder or his authorized representative. Separate.
