Site work and new construction of an educational facility in La Place, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The scope of work includes providing and installing new pre-finished aluminum wind-rated canopy systems over the existing walkways at Emily C. Watkins Elementary School. The work also involves associated concrete foundations, footings, and other items as noted in the complete set of bid documents dated September 30, 2025. All work must be substantially complete within one hundred and thirty-five (135) consecutive days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a Bid Bond Form written by a surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana, signed by the surety's agency or attorney-in-fact as per the project specifications.
