Collection and removal of municipal solid waste All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, but in any event shall not be less than $500.00 nor greater than $20,000.00 and must be accompanied by a consent of surety statement in the form provided from a surety company stating that the surety company will provide the bidder with a bond for 100% of the contract amount in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Bid date notes : bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to denies d. Cafenet, municipal clerk/qualified purchasing agent, township of Fairfield, 230 Fairfield road, Fairfield, new jersey, and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements. 2. Bids can be mailed. All mailed bids shall be addressed to the denies d. Capone, municipal clerk,/qualified purchasing agent, township of fairfield, 230 fairfield road, fairfield, new jersey, 07004 and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "Collection and removal of municipal solid waste". All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as certified return receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals will be rejected within sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. The mayor and township council of the township of fairfield reserves the right to reject all bids, to reject unbalanced bids, and to waive any informality in any bid.
