Site work for a mixed-use development in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development.
The City of Manassas, VA has received and has accepted an unsolicited proposal from MLG Construction Management LLC (MLG proposal), for a public-private partnership under which the private Proposer would purchase the properties at 9351 Main Street (site of the former Olde Towne Inn), and at 9011A, 9009, 9007, 9007A, 9005, and 9003 Center Street (site of the former Manassas Ice and Fuel Company / MIFCO), now owned by the City of Manassas (the "City"), to construct a hotel on the former Olde Towne Inn site, residential apartments on the former MIFCO site, and a shared use parking garage on the City Hall Parking Lot at 9027 Center Street The City will evaluate the qualifications and experience of the Proposer, and analyze all project characteristics, financing, benefits and overall compatibility with the City of Manassas Comprehensive Plan. No submittal fee is required to submit a competing proposal. Any proposal that does not include a shared use garage and hotel will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject all proposals.
