The need for this project is for the completion of: a condition assessment and detailed analysis of identified WWTP unit processes and infrastructure at the WWTP; assess viability of wet weather diversion prior to lift station the identification of sustainability work needed to prolong the lifespan of the identified plant components and the plant as a whole, including identification of the risks involved with not completing the work; the identification and evaluation of sustainability/upgrade strategies including determining associated risks, life/cycle cost of upgrade options, effects on compliance and evaluation of same; a complete picture of the priority/high risk sustainability upgrades required at the WWTP; a review of the constructability and the phasing of the recommended upgrades in 5-year increments according to priorities identified (in order to break the work into affordable stages of $10M to $30M); and a conceptual design of those selected strategies identifying all required WWTP sustainability upgrades, including building and site improvements (Provisional).
