Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Welland, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Welland (the "City") is seeking a Design-Build solution for the Merritt Park Washroom & Pathway Project. Work will be delivered under a single Design-Build (D-B) contract. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for both the Design and Construction of all required work, ensuring a comprehensive, turnkey solution that includes the following elements: Design, build, and installation of New Accessible Prefabricated Washrooms Design & Installation of Hard Surface Concrete Pathways and Asphalt Pathway Design & Installation of Lighting Bollards Along New Asphalt Pathway Site Wide Drainage Improvements Beautification of the Outdoor Area (e.g., garbage cans, landscaping) Advanced Washroom Security & Automation Features Construction must commence by January 2026, with completion by May 2026.
