Well Housing Improvements This item will be paid on a lump sum bid price. This item shall include a 8' x 10' for Well No. 2 and 8' x 12' for Well No. 3, prefabricated well house including all site work and grading necessary to construct the building foundation and prepare subgrade, and all materials and labor incidental thereto in accordance with Plans and Technical Provisions. 2. 4" Discharge Piping, Valves, Fittings & Appurtenances This item shall be paid for on a lump sum price bid. This item will be the furnishing and installation of set of 4" discharge piping, valves, fittings, and appurtenances including but not limited to: gate valves, check valves, control valves, D.I.P fittings, sample tap, and 4" D.I.P. to the connection point of the existing PVC pipe, 4" blow off with screen, pressure gauge, floor drain, complete in place, including all labor and materials incidental thereto. Gate valve shall either be Muller or approved equivalent. Existing water lines will have to be field located and considered incidental. Contractor shall utilize the existing flow meter and incorporate into construction. 3. Interconnection of Well Discharge Piping to Distribution Main This item shall be paid for on a lump sum price bid. This item will be the furnishing and installation of PVC C900 DR18 water main to interconnect the well discharge piping to the distribution main. This item shall include, but is not limited to all gate valves, tees, reducers, bends, plugs, water main, hydrostatic pressure test and BacT test, and appurtenances, complete in place, including all labor and materials incidental thereto as shown on the plans and technical provisions. Gate valve shall either be Muller or approved equivalent. Existing water main will have to be field located and considered incidental. The existing waterline connecting the well to distribution main shall be cut and plugged as shown on the plans. 4. Electrical System Improvements This item shall be paid for on a lump sum price bid. This item will be the furnishing and installation of all electrical and control equipment as shown in the plans and specs including but not limited to: house panel, transformer, circuit breakers, service disconnect, VFD, retrofitting radio telemetry panel to building, grounding, all conduit, wiring, conductors, lights, controls, lightning arrestor, fuses, complete in place including all materials and labor incidental thereto.
