**As of July 21st, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** E Van Buren Street Paving Improvements (from Grand East to Broadway) includes the following work: cold milling pavement (2" thick) for 5,649 square yards, asphalt paving overlay (2" thick, Type S4 Asphalt Mix, PG64-22 OK) for 779 tons, unclassified excavation (10" thick) for 180 cubic yards, aggregate base Type A (6" thick) for 109 cubic yards, adjusting one valve box to grade, and construction traffic control (lump sum). Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a bid bond of 5% of the total amount bid. The successful bidder must enter into contract and file required bonds within ten days of notice of award. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 45 days after bid opening. Bidders must obtain plans and specifications from the Engineer's office and be registered on the Engineer's bid list to be eligible. Offers must be submitted so as to reach the designated office by the specified time; late submissions will not be considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and make awards in the Owner's best interest. Award is subject to final approval.
