The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) has assumed the procurement lead for a cooperative bid from qualified firms for Road Salt to include Rock Salt, Solar Salt, and 100lb. Weatherproof Bags of Calcium Chloride on behalf of municipalities within Essex County. Sealed bids are requested from qualified firms for the following communities that are eligible to participate in this cooperative bid: Amesbury; Boxford; Essex, Georgetown; Gloucester, Groveland; Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Manchester by the Sea, Merrimac; Middleton, Newbury; Newburyport; Rockport, Rowley; Salisbury; Topsfield, Wenham, and West Newbury.
