Site work and renovation of a development in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade development; and one-story above grade development.
The Town of Chapel Hill seeks statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms specializing in design services, engineering services, regulatory coordination, permitting management, and construction administration services related to the assessment, repair, and enhancement of infrastructure and assets damaged by flood waters during tropical storm Chantal. The services will be provided on a task order basis for the repair and augmentation of Town-owned infrastructure and assets degraded as a result of the flooding. The contract will cover multiple projects to be undertaken as funding becomes available, with the option to work with sub-consultants for necessary expertise. Projects may include erosion control and streambank stabilization for various sites. Statements of qualifications should not include a fee proposal. Firms must be properly registered with the Office of the Secretary of State and with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. Engineers in responsible charge must be registered Professional Engineers in North Carolina with good ethical and professional standing. If using subsidiaries or subcontractors, firms must include a statement confirming their proper registration. It is the responsibility of each firm to adhere to all applicable laws of North Carolina.
