Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 2,900-square-foot, four-story above grade fire / police facility.

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the HVAC unit serving the kitchen, removal and relocation of kitchen cooking equipment under an existing exhaust hood, existing piping and controls, including any required piping, controls and electrical revisions. Provide alternate to provide new FCU for Kitchen Management Office. Sealed bids must be received at the specified location by the deadline. The bid envelope should be marked with the Bid Number, name of Bidder, date, and time of opening. One unbound original and two copies should be submitted. Bids from corporations not chartered in Georgia must include certification authorizing them to do business in Georgia. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after opening. The awarded contract must be completed within the allowable calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with $500 per day retained for each day of delay. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; the successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and insurance as detailed in the bid documents. All forms and bonds must be submitted on Gwinnett County forms. Award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bid; Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, or negotiate terms, conditions, or pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s). Bids may be split or awarded entirely.
