Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,174-square-foot, three-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The facility will accommodate fire personnel, apparatus, and support functions, while meeting all applicable code, safety, and operational requirements. The facility consists of 15,175 SF combined with the lower public level with lobby and training room; the main level spaces with Apparatus Bays (3), decontamination areas, gear storage, offices, dayroom, kitchen, fitness room; and the third level of sleeping rooms, bathrooms, storage and mechanical equipment. Site development to include site clearing, grading, and preparation. Relocation of existing utilities serving existing buildings within the site. Installation of underground utilities (water, sewer/ septic, electric, gas, data). Construction of a new access driveway, apparatus aprons, parking areas, sidewalks, stormwater treatment, stormwater detention, and landscaping. Building construction to include stiffened slab on grade, structural steel framing, CMU framing, masonry veneer & metal panel, light gauge & CMU interior partitions, metal roof, covered porch and roof top deck. Elevator installation and code-compliant stairwells. Installation of energy-efficient HVAC systems. Full electrical system, including lighting, back-up generator, and emergency power. Potable water, wastewater, and fire suppression systems. Compliance with NFPA and local fire/ life safety codes. Communications and technology with structured cabling for data/ voice systems. Integration of emergency dispatch systems and security system including access control. Testing, commissioning, and closeout including full testing of building systems and infrastructure. Training for facility staff on building operations and safety systems. Final inspections, occupancy certifications, and closeout documentation.
