Reference Number 0000399551 Contractor shall provide installation services of 3kWh solar photovoltaic ("PV") systems (each a "System" or the "Systems") on up to ten (10) single family income-qualified households (the "Homeowners" or "Households" or "Homes"), as directed by the County. The Work includes the design and installation of up to ten (10) 3 kW dc PV systems interconnected to the homeowner's side of the utility meter. All arrays/systems must be appropriately sized and equipped for the residence though they may vary in tilt/orientation. PV systems shall be fully compliant with the Austin Energy Distribution System Interconnection Guide for Customer-Owned Power Production Facilities Less Than 10 MW, all required permits shall be the responsibility of the bidder to identify and obtain, and all electrical work shall be conducted by licensed electricians in accordance with Texas law. Contractor shall coordinate with Austin Energy to fulfill all requirements pertaining to interconnection and metering. The County reserves the right to perform any test or inspection to ascertain whether the requirements of the Contract, of the General Conditions, and of this Statement of Work are satisfied. In the event that a System is satisfactorily installed, or is not being satisfactorily repaired or replaced, the Contractor shall use its best efforts to ensure that any such System satisfies such requirements. If the IFB states that a Bid Bond is required, Bidder must submit a Bid Bond equal to 5% of its bid when Bidder submits its bid. The Bid Bond may be submitted in any of the following forms: 1) a SURETY BID BOND executed with a Surety Company authorized to do business in Texas, 2) a CASHIERS CHECK made payable to Travis County, or 3) an IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CREDIT made payable to Travis County. The Bid Bond must be conditioned on the Bidder executing a contract, if awarded the contract, and providing a Performance Bond, if required. Travis County returns Bid Bonds no later than 10 days after the later of contract award or the successful Bidder providing a Performance Bond, if required.
