The City of Westerville is accepting proposals for professional design services for the replacement of the remaining original EPDM roof sections at the Westerville Community Center. This project involves comprehensive design services for roof replacement, including assessment, design development, construction documentation, bidding assistance, and construction administration. Delivering to the City the comprehensive, attentive, and high-touch design services needed for the replacement of the original EPDM roof sections at the Westerville Community Center. These sections, totaling approximately 35,000 square feet, are located over the gymnasium and recreation/operations offices. Design Services, include but are not limited to, assessment, design development, construction documentation, bidding assistance, and construction administration. Cleveland Avenue, Westerville, Ohio 43082, holds an important place as a key specialty facility in the City's building inventory. It is continually assessed to ensure it remains in strong shape and can meet both present and foreseeable future needs. Constructed in 2001 and expanded between 2018 and 2020, the Community Center is now a 145,000 square foot facility dedicated to classes, fitness, swimming, and meetings. It remains operational year-round with high public usage and serves as the recreation and operations hub for the Westerville Parks and Recreation Department.
