The work involves the renovation of Millstone Creek Park and Playground, including the demolition and legal disposal of the playground surfacing and select playground equipment; installation of new bonded rubber surfacing; installation of owner-furnished playground equipment and site furniture; and site appurtenances as shown and specified. Bids must be submitted in electronic format only in accordance with provided submission instructions and must be uploaded at the specified portal. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. If the bid is accepted, a contract must be executed and a satisfactory Performance/Payment Bond furnished within ten days after notice of award. All blank spaces in the bid forms must be filled in, unit prices and/or lump sum prices must be provided, and each bidder must bid on all items and alternates contained in the bid schedule. The project is subject to the Prevailing Rates of Wages per Ohio Revised Code. The city reserves the right not to award a contract and to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities, awarding a contract to the bidder submitting the lowest and best bid, considering accepted alternates.
