The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is receiving bids for construction services for the Blueprint Miller Kelton Newton Bedford Permeable Pavers and Newton Bedford Waterline Improvements projects. The project includes the construction of 7,174 square yards of permeable pavers along four local streets-Carpenter Street, 22nd Street, Linwood Avenue, and Kimball Place-in the public right-of-way, acquired temporary easements, and City-owned property. Additional work consists of new storm sewers, modifications to existing storm sewers, curb and walk replacement, 1,424 linear feet of 6-8 inch new waterlines, and other necessary work to complete the contract in accordance with the provided drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications. Bids must be submitted through Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com; hard copies or emails will not be accepted. All bid documents and addenda will be available for review and download on Bid Express. Firms must meet all mandatory requirements stated in the Invitation For Bid for their bid to be considered for contract award.
