The City of Miramar is soliciting bids from qualified contractors/vendors to furnish all material, equipment, and labor to furnish the installation of two Motorized Operators on the (2) Headworks Influent Slide gates: Note: gates will still require manual operation. Second phase of this project will be the removal and replacement of the (2) Hydro Gate Company 316 stainless steel, handwheel-operated bypass slide gates, each measuring 48" (channel width) by 54" (gate height) Grit Chamber #1 and #2 at the upper level. After removal, the existing bypass Slide bypass gates shall be properly disposed of off-site by Contractor. PROJECT QUESTIONS: All questions must be submitted in writing to the City's Procurement Department, 2200 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025, by email to: sphanor@miramarfl.gov, no later than January 8, 2026. Absolutely no questions will be answered if submitted after the question submittal deadline. PROJECT LOCATION: The Project is located at City of Miramar Wastewater Reclamation Facility at 13900 Pembroke Road, Miramar, Florida 33027 COMPLETION OF WORK: The commencement date shall be established in the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall commence the Work within 10 Days from the commencement date. The Work shall be Substantially Complete within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the commencement date given in the Notice to Proceed. The Work shall be Finally Completed for full acceptance by the City within ninety (90) Calendar Days after the commencement date given in the Notice to Proceed.
