A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services for the City of Rocklin ADA Transition Program HUD Specific Areas: 2025 Concrete Services located in the City of Rocklin, Placer County, California. The contractor shall possess either a Class-A or Class B with a C-8 and C-12 license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time the bid is submitted. The project is federally-funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to federal labor standards and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, requiring payment of federal prevailing wages or, if higher, state prevailing wage rates. Certified payrolls must be submitted each week, and the City must have access to workers on site. Federal rules limit the number of apprentices, who must be registered in a federally-recognized program. The effective federal wage decision and posters informing workers of their rights must be posted at the job site. The project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, federal Affirmative Action, and Equal Opportunity requirements.
