Hawbaker but the awarded amount is not available.** Sealed bids are being accepted from qualified vendors for the "Tioga County Rail Road Crossing Removal Project." The project consists of 332 CY Class 1 Excavation, 448 LF Saw Cutting, 506 SY Base Course, 255 SY Flexible Base Replacement, 761 SY Subbase, 761 SY Wear Course, 761 SY Asphalt Tack Coat, 1 Each Cleaning Drainage Structures, 2 Each Grade Adjustment of existing Manholes, 48 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 5 Each Inlet Filter Bags for Type M Inlet, 46 SF Pavement Marking Removal, 2 Each Pavement Marking Legend Removal, 6 Each Post Mounted Sign Removal Type B, 2 Each Signal Base (removal and Backfill). An Asphalt Escalator Clause is included. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. A certified check or performance bond for 100% of the contract will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be on municipality-furnished forms. The right to reject any or all proposals is reserved. Project specifications may be obtained from the Tioga County Maintenance Director's office or by email.
