The Work is for the construction of an approximately 4,300 square foot Administration Building and an approximately 5,600 square foot Maintenance Building to include a bridge crane and backup power generators for each building to support the operation of the Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) located in Montgomery, Alabama. Please provide all information requested below. Failure to provide all information requested, and failure to provide full disclosure may be cause for rejection by the Alabama Port Authority of any pre-qualification submittal. Attach additional pages as necessary. There are no page limitations for the proposal. However, including general marketing type information is strongly discouraged. Only General Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Alabama Port Authority will be eligible to bid the project. All General Contractors must demonstrate successful completion of projects of similar size, type, and complexity. The Alabama Port Authority may, at the Alabama Port Authority's discretion, add additional General Contractors after the due date set forth below. Submittal Deadline: 4:00 PM Central Time October 20, 2025. Pre-qualification shall be submitted electronically in PDF document format to sam.matheny@volkert.com and William.barker@volkert.com Contractors submitting pre-qualification proposals will be notified regarding their pre-qualification status on or around October 31, 2025. The bid documents are anticipated to be provided to pre-qualified contractors on or around November 7, 2025 Following the issuance of the bid documents a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project location. Attendance by Pre-qualified General Contractors will be required. Bids from Pre-qualified General Contractors not attending the Pre-Bid Conference will be rejected. A contract is anticipated to be awarded in January 2026 The final date for submission of questions is hereby extended to 2 January 2025.
