The deadline for asking questions is Thursday Sealed Envelope: Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - RFP# - Project Name" Bid Submission Method: Bids can be submitted by mail, hand delivery, or courier service to City Hall City of Freeport Police Department is requesting quotations from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and services for the replacement of potable and chilled water systems, as well as drain line work, at Freeport Police Department 430 N Brazosport Blvd Freeport TX, 77541. The work must comply with all applicable codes and standards and be completed in coordination with facility operations. 1. Potable Water System o Install new PEX piping to service all plumbing fixtures. o Insulate all exposed water piping. o Anchor piping for proper support. o Connect new system to existing water supply piping. o Demo and remove existing water piping. o Perform a safety and performance test on the new potable water supply system. o Provide a 1-year limited warranty. 2. Chilled Water System o Install new pre-insulated HDPE chilled water piping system. o Install aluminum jacketing on all piping. o Perform a safety and performance test. o Provide a 1-year limited warranty. 3. Drainage System o Excavate and perform a 220 O. tunnel to replace all drain lines under the foundation. o Replace drain piping with SCH 40 PVC pipe and fitngs. o Support pipe with metal pipe hangers. o Work to include digging, plumbing, materials, tax, permit, and backfilling. o Provide photographs documenting the work. 4. Additional Hot/Cold Water Lines o Replace and reroute hot and cold-water lines behind the jail cell with 2-inch PEX pipe and fitngs. o Work to include plumbing, materials, tax, and permit. 5. Alternate Piping Replacement (if required) o Re-pipe all potable water lines with PEX pipe and fitngs. o Ensure all accessible lines are properly strapped, hung, and insulated. o Run a new line to the heater in the garage area. o Install new angle stops and supply flexes at each plumbing fixture. o Provide new valves and gauges at every location. 6. Inspection and Permitng o All work must be permitied and inspected by the City of Freeport. Contractor Responsibilities o Provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary. o Secure all required permits and inspections. o Ensure work is performed to code and jail security requirements. o Coordinate with facility management to minimize disruptions. o Provide a detailed schedule of work.
