The City of Coral Springs seeks to retain the services of a qualified and experienced firm or individual to provide the necessary services to the City’s Security and Lockdown System. The selected firm or individual must deliver an integrated and scalable solution including, but not limited to: installation, maintenance, and support of the security system (surveillance camera installation and maintenance, access control system integration and management, Real Time Crime Center video feed compatibility, and collaboration with City IT, Emergency Services, and Facilities teams); support and maintenance of the proprietary lockdown system (preventative maintenance, response to errors and malfunctions, documentation of all work, affirmation of authorized service capabilities, interoperability for alternative solutions, and subcontracting with certified providers if needed); integration and expansion services (design and engineering for new facility lockdown and PA systems, integration planning with proprietary compatibility, documentation and trigger zone mapping); and system interoperability and emergency support (compatibility with existing City infrastructure and software, backup communication and power redundancy, and 24/7 service availability including emergencies). Vendors must support or arrange authorized service for the proprietary lockdown system, and those proposing alternatives must ensure full compatibility. Subcontracting plans with certified providers must be identified if direct service is not possible. There are no addenda or conference requirements mentioned, and a Bid Bond of 5% is required.
