The City of Coral Springs seeks to retain the services of a qualified and experienced firm or individual to provide the necessary services to the City’s Security and Lockdown System. The selected firm or individual must be capable of delivering an integrated and scalable solution that includes but is not limited to: installation, maintenance, and support of security systems (including surveillance camera installation and maintenance, access control system integration, and Real Time Crime Center video feed compatibility); support and maintenance of proprietary lockdown system (preventative maintenance of installed components, response to system errors, documenting inspections and repairs, supporting or arranging authorized service for proprietary infrastructure, ensuring interoperability with existing systems, and identifying a subcontracting plan for vendors unable to directly service proprietary systems); integration and expansion services (design and engineering for new facility lockdown and PA systems, scalable integration planning, floor plan documentation, and trigger zone mapping); and system interoperability and emergency support (compatibility with existing City infrastructure and software, backup communication methods, power redundancy, and 24/7 service availability including during emergencies).
